Lynn Schoenfeld of San Carlos left dealership maintenance behind and became a loyal Heyer Performance customer before she ever rolled her Porsche into Tony's shop.
Lynn bought her white 2000 Boxter fitted with a grey top and tiptronic transmission late in 1999. "I absolutely love
the car." Through the warranty period, she had it maintained exclusively through a local dealership. Shortly after
the warranty expired, it developed a water pump related problem. After a significant investment with the dealership, the car once again displayed
symptoms of overheating. She was

quoted an engine replacement price as a worst-case scenario. At this point, she told some Porsche owning friends at
the Pacific Athletic Club about her Boxter's unfortunate diagnosis. "You don't know Tony?" they said. She received several more recommendations for Heyer Performance.
With her Boxter stuck in the service department of the dealership, she called Heyer Performance, and
explained what had happened. "I couldn't believe that Tony was having me read through my invoices and part
numbers to reconstruct what had been done, right away over the phone. He even called Porsche Cars North

America to get an engine quote with me on the line, and it was almost half of the dealer quote. After we went through the records on the phone, he
assessed the problem, and advised me to show up unannounced at the dealer. He gave me a list of questions
to ask, and coached me on how to get the car out of the dealership, because it likely didn't need additional parts."
"It's crazy, most people just aren't this nice anymore." Lynn added, "I tell everyone about Heyer Performance, and from here on, my Boxter will only
go to Tony for oil changes and all service.
